Risk management is the
base of all quality models. The risk management is the most critical task
towards achieving business success. Every business requires focusing on
critical success factors. Often, it is the case that businesses have challenges
in identifying what may go wrong with their strategy and execution. Even though
they are able to identify, there is no sure way to fix the problems at the
root.
At Fasttrait, we have
developed a unique methodology to effectively address the risk management needs
of any organisation. It is called Opportunity Based Trait Development (OBTD).
What is an OBTD model?
OBTD approach is based on
the principle that
“Every problem is an
opportunity for improvement”
With OBTD, we help you to
identify and control the risks which are inherent in the people, process and technology of
the business. We believe that risks are opportunities for growth and
improvement. We do not see them as risks for the business but we look at them
as opportunities for business growth. Business growth is not just growth in
business revenue but how to generate more resources. Every business has certain
capabilities to produce more time, talent and money. We call these capabilities
as traits.
We believe that the
business success depends on how well the organisations exhibit its traits. These
are very well perceived easily by external entities which may be customer,
potential employees or the society. We are sure that every business does hard
work in establishing and sustaining itself. But quite often, the effort or the
established capability that every organisation has developed cannot be apparent
to the outside entities. In order to make an impact into the market,
organisation needs to constantly make sure that it has the traits. Though the
traits do not have substance but it is the basis of how people judge your
business through their own lenses and perceptions.
We try to help
organisation to bridge the gaps between its capabilities and traits. We help to
constantly work on the opportunities for growth and improvement through our own
model called OBTD. OBTD execution works on the following principles
1.“We do not know what we do
not know”
2."We can not define what we do not know"
3."We can not measure what we can not define"
4."We can not analyse what what we can not measure"
2."We can not define what we do not know"
3."We can not measure what we can not define"
4."We can not analyse what what we can not measure"
5.“If we can not analyse, we
can not improve”
6."If we can not improve, we can not control"
7."To control, we need to know"
7."To control, we need to know"
